From March 1994 to April 1995, the author conducted an anonymous self-administered questionnaire survey of 290 tourists traveling to Thailand on AIDS knowledge, attitudes, beliefs and behavior. The results show that travelers have better knowledge of actual self-protection knowledge than general knowledge; some people have misunderstood the ways of HIV transmission, high-risk groups, and preventive measures. 18.6% of people did not know that intravenous drug users were at high risk. 73.3% said that HIV-infected persons must have symptoms. 30.2% did not know that condoms could prevent AIDS. Travelers who wanted to have multiple partners accounted for 18.3%. , 62.5% of people believe that using condoms will reduce sexual pleasure; there are 15 (5.2%) of self-reported sexual partners; 87.2% believe that to reduce the chance of HIV infection, they can change or control their own behavior. 38.4% of people said that their behavior changed after AIDS. The AIDS knowledge among travelers was unbalanced, and the rate of correct answer was increased with age and education level (P<0.05). It was hoped that multiple sexual partners and self-reported multiple sexual partners had a significantly lower rate of correct response than others. <0.01); want to have more than one sexual partner to self-reported more than the proportion of other sexual partners significantly (P <0.01); pro-condom-prevention of AIDS can often use the proportion of condoms is significantly higher than other people P <0.01. The paper points out that the AIDS knowledge propaganda for “Thailand Travelers” should be strengthened, and travelers should be warned to avoid multiple partner behaviors, use condoms, and prevent HIV infection through sexual contact. The AIDS Surveillance Network should deal with “Thailand Tour” "The crowd keeps a high degree of vigilance.
