成年雄性SD大鼠灌胃给昆明山海棠恨的乙醇提取物(简称ATH),每日0.3g/kg,6周后所有用药鼠均丧失生育力,检测其附睾尾精子活率及密度均明显低于对照。继续给维持量(0.2g/kg)ATH16周,停药5周后生育力及附睾精子完全恢复,所测的其它各项指标包括体重、附性腺重量、睾丸、附睾及主要脏器的组织学、血常规及淋巴细胞转化试验均与对照组无显著性差异。结果表明,在雄性SD 大鼠,低剂量的ATH 长期(22周)给药所致的不育是完全可逆的,且不遗留任何明显毒副作用。
Adult male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were given intragastrically to the Kunming Shanhai Ethanol Extract (abbreviated as ATH) at 0.3g/kg daily. After 6 weeks, all rats were lost to fertility. The viability and density of epididymal sperm were significantly increased. Below the control. Continue to maintain the amount of (0.2g/kg) ATH for 16 weeks. After 5 weeks of withdrawal, fertility and epididymal spermatozoa were fully recovered. Other measured parameters included body weight, weight of the accessory glands, histology of the testis, epididymis and major organs. Blood tests and lymphocyte transformation tests were not significantly different from the control group. The results showed that in male SD rats, the infertility caused by long-term (22 weeks) administration of low-dose ATH was completely reversible and did not leave any obvious toxic side effects.
