元代著名诗歌僧楚石自小即在浙江生活,在这期间曾经在杭州、湖州、海盐生活,活动范围仅限于浙江一省,个人活动范围较小。纵观楚石一生,第一次走出浙江省,就是从他二十八岁时受英宗诏书缮写《大藏经》离开浙江北上开始的。对于楚石来讲,佛理上的通达该是最此番北游最大的收获。楚石对佛法的理解与认知,在北游过程中得到了极大加强,成功摆脱了名相的束缚,楚石从一名普通的僧人变成元叟的弟子,成为了“妙喜五世”。北游对楚石通达佛理的影响是如此巨大,改变了他一生的命运。
The famous poetry monk of the Yuan Dynasty, who lived in Zhejiang since childhood, lived in Hangzhou, Huzhou and Haiyan during this period. The scope of his activities was limited to one province in Zhejiang Province, and his personal activities were relatively small. Throughout his life, Chu Shi first stepped out of Zhejiang Province from the time he was 28 years old by the British imperial edict “Tripitaka” left Zhejiang north. For Chu Shi, Buddhism Mastery is the most significant gain this time. The understanding and cognition of Buddhism by Chu Shi has been greatly strengthened during the course of his journey to the north and succeeded in getting rid of the shackles of his fame. Chu Shih, who changed from an ordinary monk to a disciple of Yuan Dynasty, has become “ V ”. The impact of the North Tour on the integrity of the Chushi Buddha was so great that it changed the fate of his life.
