The authors studied the effects of different molecular weights (190,194,5200, respectively) of benzo-γ-pyrone 2-carboxylic acid (1), pamoic acid (2), chrysanthemum starch (3) and dextran (4) 70000) on nasal mucosal absorption in male rats. The method is to determine the concentration of bile and urine in rats within 6 hours after intravenous or nasal administration.
