一1907年7月28日,吴焕先出生于湖北黄安(今红安)紫云区箭厂河四角曹门村(今属河南新县箭厂河乡竹林村)一户殷实人家。亲兄弟5人,他排行第三,人称“三少爷”。因在叔伯兄弟中排行第七,乡亲们又叫他“七相公”。吴焕先幼时天资聪颖,7岁入私塾,16岁考入湖北麻城乙种蚕业学校,1924年,在学校加入了中国共产党的预备组织——中国共产主义青年团。1925年底,经戴季伦、戴克敏介绍,在黄安七里坪加入了中国共产党。1926年夏,吴焕先开始投身于农民运动。1926年秋,在四角曹门村建立了第一个农民协会组织。
July 28, 1907, Wu Huanxian was born in Huang’an, Hubei (now Hongan) Zijin River Arrow Factory River Cao Cao village (now a new county in Henan Province Hing Township bamboo village) an honest people. Five brothers, he ranked third, called “three young master.” Because of the seventh brother in the uncle, the folks also called him “seven-man.” Wu Huanxian was a talented young man at the age of seven and was admitted to a private school at the age of seventeen. At the age of 16, he was admitted to the Sericulture School of Macheng County in Hubei Province. In 1924, he joined the Communist Youth League of China, a preparatory organization for the Chinese Communist Party. By the end of 1925, by Dai Jilun, Dai Kemin introduction, joined the Communist Party of China in Huangan Qiliping. In the summer of 1926, Wu Huanxian began to devote himself to the peasant movement. In the autumn of 1926, the first peasant association was established in Caoomen Village, the four corners of the country.
