该文对流域泥石流防治效益的评估方法作了系统的探讨。首先从影响防治效益的诸多因素中筛选出主要因素，建立了具有层次结构的评估指标体系，并给出了有关指标的计算方法，最后讨论了用模糊综合评判方法对防治效益进行评估的方法和步骤。该文所提出的评估方法客观性强，简便易行，便于在实际中推广应用。
