“南海Ⅰ号”出水宋代景德镇窑生产的青白瓷婴戏莲纹碗。婴戏莲纹是宋代陶瓷装饰中较为典型纹饰图案,寓意“连生贵子”“多子多孙”“人丁兴旺”。这种吉祥含义契合宋代百姓心理,它的盛行反映了当时人民追求社会和平、繁衍生息的时代特征。其装饰技法受文人士大夫阶层的审美情趣影响,体现出“以形写神”的特点。莲纹装饰由佛教圣花走向世俗化,与本土文化融合,并作为外销瓷的纹饰图案远销海外,也成为中外文化交流的见证。
