郁南县是广东省的山区县之一,全县总面积294.5万亩,而林业用地210万亩,占总面积的71％,现有森林面积117万多亩,活立木蓄积300万立方米。郁南县历来重视做好护林防火工作,1985年全县发生火警6宗,林火2宗,受害面积有450亩,为全县森林面积的0.45‰。他们的主要做法是: 一、统一认识,加强领导该县多年来一直采取预防为主,积极消灭的方针,把护林防火工作列入重要议事日程,加强领导,并成立了护林防火指挥部,各区成立护林防火领导小组,指定专人负责日常工作。全县18个区1个镇,设有护林站21个,护林员399人,形成了三级护林防火组织网,做到群策群力,群防群管,共同做好森林的保护与防火工作。二、贯彻《森林法》
Yunan County is one of the mountainous counties in Guangdong Province. The total area of the county is 2.945 million mu while that of forestry is 2.1 million mu, accounting for 71% of the total area. The existing forest area is 1.17 million mu and the living timber accumulates 3 million cubic meters . Yuenan County has always attached importance to forest fire prevention work. In 1985, six fires occurred in the county and two forest fires occurred. The affected area was 450 mu, which was 0.45 ‰ of the forest area of the entire county. Their main approaches are as follows: I. Unite awareness and strengthen leadership The county has been taking the principle of prevention first and elimination actively over the years and has included the work on fire prevention in forests in the important agenda, strengthened leadership and set up a fire protection protection command headquarters. All districts Set up a leading group of forest fire prevention, designated person in charge of daily work.
