The authors injected the dermal extracts of neonatal rats subcutaneously into young mature male rats, showing that the DNA synthesis of the connective tissue hyperplasia of the mice was inhibited. This phenomenon was most noticeable in the back of the wound, but not in the marginal part of the wound Suppression phenomenon.
