在草原城市乌兰浩特市的兴安北路,有一个被当地群众称之为红色广场的地方——五一广场。这座广场,在内蒙古民族解放运动的历史长河中,有着一笔浓墨重彩的记录。五一广场景观宜人,花开三季、树木成荫,广场正中高高的旗杆上飘扬着鲜红的国旗,从早到晚,这里总是聚集着休闲和娱乐的人群。行走在广场的四周,可以看到很多内蒙古民族解放运动的历史遗迹。在广场西北约300米的位置,是内蒙古军区司令部遗址,现为中国银行 In the grassland city of Wulanhaote Xing’an North Road, there is a place called the Red Square by the local people - Wuyi Square.
