因为T淋巴细胞和B淋巴细胞在完成机体的免疫机能方面各具有不相同的机能,所以探索在组织切片中如何鉴别淋巴细胞亚群已受到广泛的重视。非特异性酸性脂酶(aNAE)染色技术是近年来用以鉴别T淋巴细胞和B淋巴细胞的较有用的新技术。最初认为人和小鼠的T淋巴细胞为aNAE阳性,而B淋巴细胞为阴性。但随着这一技术的广泛使用,部分作者也指出在涂片中,人的少部分B淋巴细胞亦为阳性;部分T淋巴细胞亦可为阴性;更有人指出经大肠杆菌脂多糖刺激活化后的B淋巴细胞可呈阳性,而经PHA刺激活化的T淋巴细胞却丢失其aNAE活性。因之有必要进一步研究组织切片的淋巴细胞aNAE
