节约能源是保证我国的国民经济能以持续发展的一项重要措施。从全世界来说,汽车所消耗的燃料数量很大。而制造汽车消耗的能量也很多,一辆汽车从制造到正常寿命期间所消耗的全部能源中,有20%是消费在制造汽车中的。本文从应用比强度大的高强度钢板、铝合金、增强塑料以减轻零件自重,改进铸造合金的熔炼、采用感应加热、简化热处理工艺以降低能耗,保证发动机零件活塞环、气缸等易磨损件的质量和废旧汽车材料回收几个方面介绍了国内外近年来汽车生产中节约能源的途径。
