2011年百口泉油田百21井区有60﹪的井为石炭系断层井,地层倾角大,石炭系地层的平均机械钻速为2.17m/h,严重影响该区块的钻井提速工作。因此引用MWD配合脉冲射流PDC钻头技术在bT1204井试验应用,将自激式脉冲喷嘴,脉冲接头,PDC钻头和MWD结合使用,充分发挥各自优势,核心技术是利用脉冲接头和脉冲喷嘴的瞬间冲击冲蚀作用,将井底岩屑快速脱离井底,避免重复研磨,提高携岩速度,从而提高钻速。实验得出:使用此技术在石炭系地层机械钻速比该区块平均机械钻速提高了1.8倍,单只PDC钻头进尺比平均单只牙轮钻头进尺提高了2.9倍,对百21井区提速工作有新进展。
