Along with the development of ultrafast laser pulses,coherent control of molecular alignment and orientation remains a field of growing interest with open questions coming from both the experimental and theoretical points of view due to its widespread applications in areas such as the alignment dependence of multiphoton ionization,[1,2] molecular frame photoelectron angular distribution,[3-5] laser-induced diffraction,[6] molecular imaging,[7-10] high-order harmonic generation[11,12] and attosecond science.[13]Alignment refers to confinement of molecule-fixed axes along laboratory-fixed axes,and orientation refers to the molecular dipole moment pointing in a particular direction.
