高等职业院校以培养符合经济社会需求的技能型人才为目标,其专业英语教学越来越受到重视。目前的高职院校专业英语教学存在着如专业英语的定位不准确、“本科压缩化”教学模式、单一化教学方法以及高素质师资紧缺、学生能力测评不规范等局限。只有确立服务学生的理念、拓展课堂空间、形成多元考核标准以及施行模块化的教学内容体系,才能更好地提升高职院校专业英语的教学质量,培养高素质的技能型人才。
Higher vocational colleges aim at cultivating skilled talents in line with the needs of the economy and society, and their professional English teaching is paid more and more attention. The current professional English teaching in higher vocational colleges has some limitations such as the inaccurate positioning of professional English, the “undergraduate compression” teaching mode, the single teaching method, the shortage of high quality teachers and the nonstandard assessment of students’ abilities. Only by establishing the concept of serving students, expanding the classroom space, forming a plurality of assessment standards and implementing a modular teaching content system can we better improve the teaching quality of professional English in higher vocational colleges and cultivate high-quality skilled personnel.
