韩国动画经过50至60年代的成长期,70年代的低潮期后,88年汉城奥运会的开幕为韩国开启了国产漫画电影的时代,并引导了韩国的动画发展。直至到今天,韩国通过三十多年为国外动画片加工经验的积累,练就了扎实的基本功。以精湛的技艺为本,在成为世界最大动画片“加工厂”之一的同时,本国的动画也发生了质的飞跃。2001-2006年这一时期的韩国动画在保持原创的同时,不断学习其他强手的制作技术,并努力开创具有自己风格特色的动画影片。同时FLASH动画,网络游戏等等方面,更是走在世界的前列。
