波斯菊别名秋英,为菊科秋英属一年生草本花卉。茎直立,分枝较多,株高因品种而异,50～100cm不等。叶对生,头状花序顶生或腋生,苞片绿色、披针形,舌状花顶端有3浅裂,花色繁多,有白、粉红、紫红等,花期在6～10月。是布置花坛、庭院的好材料,也可作盆栽、瓶插。常见品种“感觉”系列株型较高,株高在90cm左右,叶展38cm,适合庭院栽培,
