松江二中从1904年松江府中学堂建校至2004年,已有了百年历史。风风雨雨,历经坎坷一百年,蕴积了深邃的学校文化精神。若以松江1949年解放为界,学校历史则要分为前后两段。前45年中,在志士仁人的呐喊和倡导之下,使“育人为立国之本”的命题渐渐成为校园里的思考和实践。长期以来形成的办学传统——“百年树人、五育兼进,健全品格,发扬个性”曾产生过深远的影响。由于师资好、纪律严、教学实,上述十六字的育人理念得到了较好的实施,师生中名人辈出,社会影响大。建国后,除了特殊时期特殊情况之外,学校不但继承了这些优良的办学传统,而且随着时间的推移,不断有所发展,有所创新。特别是改革开放以来,学校在坚持“以树人为目标,以教学为中心,以严实为基点”的基础上,又以新的
