地处喜马拉雅山南麓的尼泊尔王国,不仅山川美丽,而且人文资源丰富,目前已有八大古迹被列入世界文化遗产名录。这八大古迹中,除佛祖释迦牟尼诞生地兰毗尼位于尼泊尔西南靠近尼印边界外,其余七处均在加德满都河谷。其中有三座老王宫、两处佛塔和两处印度教庙,均是公元18世纪前的文化遗产,恰到好处地反映了尼泊尔的历史与宗教、文化与艺术,1979年以加德满都河谷(KathmanduValley)的名义一起被列入了世界文化遗产名录。
Located in the southern Himalayas Kingdom of Nepal, not only beautiful mountains and rich cultural resources, there are already eight major monuments have been included in the World Heritage List. Among the eight monuments, in addition to the site of the Buddha Shakyamuni, Lumbini lies in the southwestern part of Nepal close to the Nepalese border and the remaining seven are in the Kathmandu Valley. Among them, there are three old royal palaces, two pagodas and two Hindu temples, all of which were the cultural heritage of the 18th century AD. They just happened to reflect the history, religion, culture and art of Nepal. In 1979, in the name of Kathmandu Valley, Was included in the World Heritage List.
