攻制内螺纹时,丝锥折断是经常发生的事情,特别是在钢件上攻M12以下的通孔或盲孔内螺纹,当内螺纹的深度与直径之比等于或大于2.5时,往往使丝锥折断,造成刀具损失和工件报废。这是由于丝锥的强度低,切削阻力大,排屑不畅或丝锥磨损等原因。鉴于此,我们设计、制造了如图所示的保险攻内螺纹专用工具。在该工具中设计了一个我们称之为“过载缓冲离合器”的部件,使主轴与丝锥之间不是刚性动力传递,较好地防止或减少了攻螺纹过程中的丝锥折断现象的发生。
