With the acceleration of the globalization process, the exchanges between China and foreign countries in all fields are getting closer and closer. As a bridge between China and the world, translation plays an increasingly important role. Therefore, the translation market is also growing and expanding. However, the professional development status of translators, especially translators, as the main body of the translation market is not optimistic. The workload of translators is high, but their salaries have been kept at a low level, resulting in a large number of excellent translators leaving their jobs. This shows that the status quo of career translators can not be optimistic. Since the mid-20th century “Cultural Turn ”, the translator’s subjectivity has drawn the attention of the majority of scholars. The author believes that the subjectivity of the translator also affected the translator’s career development to a certain extent. This paper mainly analyzes some problems existing in the current career development of translators from the perspectives of the translator’s subjectivity, historical reasons, market reasons and their own causes, and puts forward corresponding solutions in order to study the career development of translators in the future Provide a little idea.
