通过1991~1995年对亚洲玉米螟在双波诱虫灯下行为观察和资料统计,明确了除自然照度、风、雨等自然因素外,灯下玉米螟蛾量随田间害虫发生量的加大而增加,可以反映田间发生程度,并且光源越强,虫量越多。所诱成虫的雌雄性比除1代外均大于1,卵巢级别在1~3级的雌蛾占60.10%,对田间的防治有重要意义。还通过对光源不同距离的田间系统调查发现,使用双波诱虫灯可使棉田玉米螟的落卵量降低,为害减轻。另外,对双波灯在棉田玉米螟测报和防治上应用的可行性进行了初步探讨。
