带材连续铸造有一个长期而艰难的历史过程,这一灵活和低成本生产高质量产品的工艺出现突破性进展并应用于工业之中,只是最近几年的事。Lauener 公司的履带式连铸机实际上是第一台生产薄板坯的铸造机,这种铸造机可用于工业规模生产罐体料。辊式铸造机已有35年的发展历史,其在世界各地已安装有220多台,主要用来生产包装箔、壁板和屋面板用的坯料。目前仅有少数几台设备在生产高质量的产品。通过大量的研究探索,采用各种新技术,将所有主要的铸造参数控制在极小的公差范围内,从而导致了连铸轧技术的重大改进。过程自动化也成为生产质量恒定的产品和提高生产率的重要手段。此项新技术打开了生产高质量产品的大门,这种高质量产品超过了用热轧机生产的产品。
Continuous casting of strip has a long and difficult historical process. The breakthrough and application of this flexible and low cost process for producing high quality products to industry has only been in recent years. Lauener’s Caterpillar Caster is in fact the first caster to produce thin slabs, which can be used to produce cans on an industrial scale. Roller casters have a 35-year history and have installed more than 220 units around the world, primarily for the production of blanks for packaging foils, siding and roofing panels. At present, only a few devices are producing high quality products. Through extensive research and exploration, the use of various new technologies to control all the major casting parameters within a very narrow range of tolerances has led to significant improvements in the continuous casting technology. Process automation has also become an important means of producing products of constant quality and productivity. This new technology opens the door to the production of high quality products that exceed those produced by hot rolling mills.
