茄果类蔬菜落花最主要的原因是温度过高或过低,尤其是夜温过高或过低所引起的。早熟栽培主要是温度过低,影响授粉和花粉管的伸长速度,所以早熟栽培的茄子落花落果现象更为严重。六十年代以来有人曾先后在茄子生产上应用植物生长调节剂2,4—D和防落素(又称番茄灵、PCPA)防止茄子落花落果,虽有一定作用,但也存在局限性。2,4—D对人体安全性较差(LD_(50)375毫克/公斤),且不宜喷施,需逐朵蘸涂,费工费时。防落素不溶于水,需先行滴定溶解配成原液,然后再行稀释施用,应用不便,有时还影响效果。
