《续琵琶》是我国清初的一部昆曲剧本,作者曹寅(1658—1712)是世界名著《红楼梦》作者曹雪芹的祖父。曹雪芹在《红楼梦》第54回中特意将祖父创作的《续琵琶》及剧中的《制拍》一折写入书中。《制拍》主要是表现蔡文姬创作《胡笳十八拍》时的情节。我们现在看到的《续琵琶》剧本,是北京图书馆保存的残钞本,抄录于康熙年间。曹寅友人刘廷玑的《在园杂志》书中曾对该剧演出详情作了生动的记述。周汝昌、卢前、顾平旦、宋铁铮等学者均对《续琵琶》一剧的发掘、考证做过大量的工作。曹寅创作的《续琵琶》最晚上演于康熙四十一年(1703),至今已有三百多年的历史,但是该剧并未像《西厢记》《长生殿》《牡丹亭》那样在舞台上
“Continued Pipa” is a Kunqu Opera script in early Qing Dynasty. Author Cao Yin (1658-1712) is the grandfather of Cao Xueqin, author of the famous “Dream of the Red Chamber” in the world. Cao Xueqin in the 54th back of the “Dream of Red Mansions” deliberately wrote his book entitled “Continued Pipa” by the grandfather and “making” in the play. “Making film” is mainly the performance of Cai Wenji creation “Hu 笳 eighteen beat” plot. We now see the “continued pipa” script, is the Beijing Library preserved remnant copy, copied in Kangxi years. Cao Yin friend Liu Ting-chi’s “Garden Magazine” book had a vivid account of the show details. Zhou Ruchang, Lu Qian, Gu Pingdan, Song Tiezheng and other scholars have done a lot of work on the excavation and textual research of the sequel. Cao Yin’s “Pipa” was staged at the earliest of the forty-one years (1703) of the reign of Kangxi and has a history of more than three hundred years now.
