古时人们在流通的古钱币上刻花,称“刻花钱”。这类型的“刻花钱”不同于铸花钱,因为“刻花钱”本身是流通货币,而铸花钱是非流通货币。根据实物内涵看这两者所起到的作用基本相同,都带有压胜性质,这就是“刻花钱”和铸花钱的主要异同点。
