The World Bank’s classification criteria for middle-income and high-income countries was adjusted in 2009 to GNI per capita (GNI) of $ 12,195. Since there is not much difference between GNI and GDP, our country is accustomed to setting the standard of per capita GDP of 10,000 U.S. dollars as it enters the advanced stage from the middle-income stage.
