He Fan, born in Shanghai in 1937, received a gift from his father at the age of thirteen, Brownie’s camera, and became fascinated with the art of photography. At the age of 18, Ho Fan immigrated to Hong Kong with her family and has since been obsessed with every aspect of the city, from the bustling avenue to the lonely alley, all shown through film.
