数字技术正在改变一个传统公司的边界,甚至重新定义竞争法则。自上世纪80年代以来,曾以产业多元化为重要特征的西方大型企业日益注重“聚焦经营”——这背后的动因可包括依靠产业深耕缩短学习曲线、取得规模经济效益、夯实核心竞争力、深入洞察客户等。久而久之,一个盛行的理念便成为:“多元化意味着危险,因为其复杂性和难以控制的规模会削弱企业取得运营协同效应;企业最好聚焦在某一个行业或若干有关联的相邻行业经营业务……”
