According to a British site Guardian.co.uk: Kathy Kearney, a mysterious woman in Ireland, is the brain behind Cook’s office and she has helped Apple save billions of dollars in profits. Apple was recently accused of tax evasion, and even Apple CEO Tim Cook was invited to parliament. At the hearing, Cook said that Apple is actually the largest U.S. taxpayer and that the accusations of Congress are just Apple’s reasonable tax avoidance. Apple’s behavior is indeed legal. For years, many companies have adopted “one or more” “tax haven” forms of tax avoidance so that tax revenues should not be as stagnant as possible. However, Apple’s problem is that the means it uses have been clever beyond most people’s imagination.
