This paper studied the relationship between the number of insects and the population density in different fields of vision on the leaf when using the hand-held magnifier field to investigate the small-mite mites. The results showed that in some locations, the number of insects in a single field of view can reflect the population density to some extent. The minimum number of visual fields that can more accurately reflect the population density of the small tree mites is 3
