自2001年以来,青岛市共接收自主择业军转干部1683人,现有1664人。近年来,青岛市结合本地实际,在开发自主择业军转干部人才资源方面进行了大胆探索和实践。自主择业军转干部人才资源的优劣势分析据不完全统计,目前青岛市自主择业军转干部创业者213人,占总人数的12.8%,年产值10多亿元,提供直接就业岗位5000余个,带动相关就业上万人。除了创业人群之外,还有484名自主择业军转干部就职于大型国企、外资企业、民营企业中。虽然,接近半数的自主择业军转干部成功实现创业和就业,但是,仍然有部分自主择业军转干部还没有适应市场经济规则,遇到问题无所适从,出现了这样那样的问题。
