目的探讨肿瘤翻译调控蛋白(TCTP)在食管鳞状细胞癌(ESCC)组织中的表达及其临床意义。方法采用免疫组化法检测163例ESCC组织及其相应的52例癌旁组织中TCTP的表达,分析其与临床病理特征的相关性。结果ESCC组织中TCTP的阳性表达率高于癌旁组织(66.26%vs.23.08%)(P<0.05)。ESCC组织中TCTP的表达水平与组织学分化、肿瘤大小、浸润深度、淋巴结转移、pTNM分期及存活状态密切相关(P<0.05),而与患者年龄、性别、脉管癌栓及神经侵犯无关(P>0.05)。TCTP高表达患者的生存时间短于低表达患者[(23.04±1.98)个月vs.(32.90±2.67)个月](P<0.05)。pTNM分期和TCTP蛋白表达是ESCC患者的独立预后因素(P<0.05)。结论 TCTP在ESCC组织中高表达,参与了ESCC发生、发展过程,可望成为ESCC预后判断和治疗的新靶点。
Objective To investigate the expression of tumor metastasis regulatory protein (TCTP) in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) and its clinical significance. Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression of TCTP in 163 cases of ESCC tissues and its corresponding paraneoplastic tissue. The correlation between the expression of TCTP and clinicopathological features was analyzed. Results The positive expression rate of TCTP in ESCC tissues was higher than that in adjacent tissues (66.26% vs.23.08%) (P<0.05). The expression level of TCTP in ESCC tissues was closely related to histological differentiation, tumor size, depth of invasion, lymph node metastasis, pTNM stage and survival status (P<0.05), but not related to age, gender, vascular tumor emboli, and nerve invasion ( P>0.05). The survival time of patients with high TCTP expression was shorter than that of patients with low expression [(23.04±1.98) months vs. (32.90±2.67) months] (P<0.05). pTNM staging and TCTP protein expression were independent prognostic factors in patients with ESCC (P<0.05). Conclusion TCTP is highly expressed in ESCC tissues and participates in the occurrence and development of ESCC. It is expected to be a new target for prognosis and treatment of ESCC.
