岭南地区汉墓中出土了大量的建筑类明器,有屋、灶、仓、水井、猪羊圈等,多为陶制,少数为铜、青铜所制,反映了该地区汉代人民的生活情况。这类建筑明器接近当时的实际建筑,结合考古出土的铺地砖、瓦等建筑构件看,其多样的纹饰与当时岭南地区本土的气候和建筑技术,以及岭南和中原地区的文化交流有莫大关系。前人的研究已对陶屋形制特点、陶屋与岭南建筑发展关系等方面作了一些讨论,如《广州出土汉代陶屋》把广州出土的汉代陶屋分为栅居式、曲尺式、三合式、楼阁
A large number of building-type planters were unearthed from the Han tombs in the Lingnan area, including houses, stoves, warehouses, wells, pigs and sheep rings, mostly pottery, and a few were made of copper and bronze, reflecting the living conditions of the Han people in the area . This kind of architectural armament is close to the actual building at that time. Considering the archeological excavated floor tiles, tiles and other building components, its various ornamentation is closely related to the local climate and construction technology in the Lingnan area and the cultural exchanges in the areas of Lingnan and Central Plains .
