The reasons for the presence of a certain percentage of women who use IUCD for menorrhagia are unknown. The level of activity of endometrial catalase reported in IUCD in rats and women was significantly higher than that in controls without IUCD, and it seems that menorrhagia and Catalase causes the overproduction of hydrogen peroxide (H 2 O 2) in the endometrium, or other mechanisms of homeostasis. It is well-known that vitamin E can control tissue lipid over-oxidation, is the body’s antioxidant and free radical collection agent, so the author will vitamin E for placement of IUCD clinical trials and achieved preliminary results.
