在红军长征队伍中,有一位传奇的外国人,他就是英国传教士薄复礼(原译名勃沙特)。薄复礼曾被红六军团俘虏,于1934年10月到1936年4月随红六军团行军。薄复礼应萧克请求翻译的法文贵州地图,对于红六军团转战黔东南发挥了重要作用。薄复礼1936年11月在伦敦出版的长篇自传体回忆录《神灵之手》(英文版),是西方首部介绍长征的专著,比埃德加·斯诺的《红星照耀中国》早了一年。
In the long march of the Red Army, there is a legendary foreigner who is the British missionary Bo Fu. Bo Fuli had been captured by the Red Army six, from October 1934 to April 1936 with the Sixth Army march. Thin Fuli requested the translation of French map of Guizhou Province, which played an important role in the transfer of Red Army to Southeast of Guizhou. The Memoir of the Spirit, published in London in November 1936 by Bo Fo Fu, is the first Western introduction to the Long March, a year earlier than Edgar Snow’s “Red Star Shines on China.”
