At the beginning of this year, the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and the Shanghai Municipal Government proposed an important implementation target for promoting the steady development of non-staple food production, further improving people’s lives and maintaining social stability. This goal is to start a new round of “vegetable basket” project of Shanghai with a high standard of three years from this year to establish a modern food circulation system and explore an international metropolis in the 1990s and even the next century.
