As one of the most famous contemporary artists in the United Kingdom, Paula Rego has been acting as a narrator, with a keen perspective and a polysemous work by a female artist, presenting us both dramatic and real world. Childhood memories are drawn by the painters into the recovery of the current awareness, not only with the personal life trajectory, but also with the numerous contemporary social topics, such as feminist topics intertwined, resulting in a deeper semantic. She made one of the most complicated terms in contemporary academic research of “narration ”, which is both logical and logical under its borrowing and reconstruction, and opens up new possibilities of interpretation under the layers of metaphor. This thesis analyzes the themes of different stages of his painting career and focuses on the sources of inspiration, psychological motivation, and the inherent relationship between social and gender factors and the evolution of her style of artistic creation.
