采用超声波检测腹膜前脂肪厚度最大值(PFTmax)与皮下脂肪厚度最小值(SFTmin)之比所示的腹壁脂肪指数(AFI)与XCT测量的腹壁皮下脂肪面积比值指数(V/S)在临床诊断上具有较好的相关性。研究人员认为,超声波检测的腹壁脂肪指数不仅与CT检测结果V/S比值可同时作为肥胖症治疗过程中的有效参考指标,而且与CT检测法相比,超声波成像检查更具操作简便等特点。因此该方法有望用于健康检查和减肥药物筛选等临床评价。
