A study by the Max Planck Institute in Germany shows that air pollution is associated with climate change during the allergy season and is a major contributor to people sneezing, stuffy nose and asthma. The study found that gas, nitrogen dioxide and ground-level ozone cause some chemical changes in certain allergens that increase this effect. Combined with global climate change, it can help explain why allergies are becoming more prevalent.
