不久前,我们就民兵政治教育的若干问题在民兵中作了一次抽样调查,300名问卷者中,有230多人直言不讳地表示对民兵政治教育“不感兴趣”,占78.4%。这些年来,我们对民兵政治教育没少花力气,也作了一些改革,而结果却落得这么个回答,这不能不使我们陷入沉思。我国的国防战略思想已经转变,民兵工作提出了“减少数量,提高质量,抓好重点,打好基础”的16字方针。这是否也意味着民兵工作的指导思想已经解决了呢?目前恐怕还难下这个断语。客观地说,现在有些同志考虑问题的思路较之过去仍没有多少变化,思想观念不说“僵化”,也还是有些僵硬。比如,在民兵的性质问题上,有些同志总习惯
Not long ago, we conducted a sample survey of militia forces on several issues concerning militia political education. Out of 300 respondents, over 230 said in a straightforward manner they “are not interested in militia political education”, accounting for 78.4%. In recent years, we have given a lot less effort and made some reforms to the militia’s political education. However, the results have come to such an answer, which can not but sink us into contemplation. Our national defense strategic thinking has changed. The militia work proposed a 16-word guideline of “reducing the quantity, improving the quality, focusing on the key points and laying a solid foundation.” Does this mean that the guiding ideology of militia work has been solved? I am afraid it is still difficult to make the remark. Objectively speaking, there are still some changes in the thinking of some comrades considering the issue now, and their ideas and concepts are not “rigid” nor are they still rigid.
