上好一堂地理课,一方面要深入钻研教材,另一方面还需要各种条件和方法的配合,其中直观教法尤为重要。直观教学最简易最方便的一种便是手势直观,运用拳、掌形象比喻,教学效果较高。当讲到“时区和日界线”时,手掌一伸(竖式)说明小拇指的一条线,假定代表本初子午线,则手掌一侧便为东经;手背一侧便为西经。小拇指的对面是大拇指,大拇指的延伸线可代表日界线,则大、小手指的垂直面左边为西十二区,右边为东十二区。这样当手背转到手掌方位时,即由西十二区跨到东十二区,日期要增、加一天;反之手掌转到手背方位去,即由东十二进入西十二区,则日期要减少一天。(皆系面向地图用左
