自教育改革以来,在实践中和理论上,都把“素质”和“教育”连在一起,组成一个名副其实的新名词——“素质教育”。素质教育是运用文化手段促进人的自然素质的社会化,使人的自然素质得到改造,融进社会的新质;是以整个民族素质的提高为出发点的教育;将群体素质转化为个人素质,并通过个人素质的完善来提高整体素质;是社会需要个人价值统一的体现;是潜能开发,心理品质培养和社会文化素养训练的整体教育;是以文化素质教育为导向,又以心理素质教育为中介,最终又似健康教育为本体的,从全面提高身心素质,发展人的个性为共同目标。本文研讨素质教育中的音乐教育的作用和意义。
