人们早在十八世纪就已发现了热释电效应,但把它制成可供实际使用的热释电红外探测器件却不过是近几年的事。这是一种热伏特器件,由于它能在室温下工作,光谱响应宽,以及在很宽的频率和温度范围内具有高的探测率等优点,因此最近几年来颇受重视。随着红外技术和激光技术的发展,特别是二氧化碳等红外波段的激光器的广泛使用,热释电探测器作为检测红外的一种新工具,正在发挥日益重要的作用。
The pyroelectric effect was discovered as early as the 18th century. However, it has been only a few years since it was made into a practical pyroelectric infrared detector. This is a thermal-volt device that has gained prominence in recent years due to its ability to operate at room temperature, its wide spectral response, and its high detection rate over a wide range of frequencies and temperatures. With the development of infrared technology and laser technology, especially in the infrared band such as carbon dioxide, pyroelectric detectors are playing an increasingly important role as a new tool to detect infrared.
