品德评定是培养学生成人成才的一个重要手段.但是,当前学生品德评定的情况令人担忧.有关统计表明,自前教师的评语中品德教育已降格为维系学校正常学习秩序和生活秩序的教育,老师们普遍重视学习方面的评定,而忽视了思想、政治、道德、心理品质和学生特长的评定.学生评语常有雷同的现象:即群体中个体雷同、个体在不同年级的雷同.从初一开始,年年变化不大,给人以千人一面和惊人相似的感觉.一项调查反映,教师心目中理想学生观的差异、教师对学生了解程度的差异、教师对评语功能理解的差异及老师自身素质不高等,都是影响评语质量的因素.问卷显示,大多数学生最担心老师写评语时不了解自己,不了解情况.如何加强和改进中学生品德评定,笔者认为首先学校要提高认识,端正态度,加强管理.要充分认识到中学生品德评定是中学德育工作的重要组成部分.通过评定,鼓励学生发扬优点,克眼缺点,促使学生不断自我完善,并检查德育工作的情况,促进德育工作水平的提高.同时,做好中学生品德评定工作,也是贯彻落实《教育法》的需要.《教育法》规定,受教育者享有“在学业成绩和品行上获得公正评价”的权利,公正评价学生是维护和保障学生合法权益的重要体现.因此,学校一定要加强学生品德评定工作的管理和指导,要把品 Morality assessment is an important means to cultivate students’ adult talents.
