那本是座荒废了的宅院,青灰色的砖墙露出孤零零的砖角,色质不一的泥沙残迹附在砖的表面。老宅的一面有一扇雕花的木窗,踮起脚尖可以望见从天窗漏下的光影,无数碎屑尘埃在这束光里飞舞,飞花碎玉般在那些木制的陈设上投下了影。我到底没能看清里面陈设的轮廓,想必是岁月磨尽了它们的棱角。爬山虎从黛瓦上倾泻而下,染绿了大半的青砖墙。院子里各种不知名的植物生得枝繁叶茂,唯有一株梅是我认得的。在木窗同侧的院墙上,有一扇木门,大概只有四五尺高,却腐朽得不成样子,暗黑的色泽仿佛深入
That was a deserted house, with gray brick walls showing solitary brick corners, and the remnants of sediment of varying color attached to the surface of the brick. The old house has a carved wooden window on one side, tiptoe to see the light falling from the skylight, countless debris dust flying in this beam of light, flying jade-like cast upon those wooden furnishings.
