棉小卵象Calomycterus obconicus Chao属鞘翅目,象虫科,是棉花苗期害虫之一。一般年份发生为害较轻,但在重发生年,局部棉田的棉苗,常引起落叶,光秆,甚至死亡。此虫分布于浙江、山东、江苏。江苏省主要分布于苏南、苏北的沿江一带。南通棉区均有分布。主要寄主有棉与桑,偶尔也为害玉米。鉴于这方面的资料国内报道较少,特将我们的观察结果简报如下,以供参考。 Cotton Ovum like Calomycterus obconicus Chao is a Coleoptera, like insects, is one of the cotton seedling pests. In general, the damage occurred less frequently. However, in the year of re-emergence, cotton seedlings in local cotton fields often cause deciduous leaves, light stalks and even death. This insect is located in Zhejiang, Shandong, Jiangsu. Jiangsu Province is mainly distributed in southern Jiangsu and northern Jiangsu along the Yangtze River. Nantong cotton area are distributed. The main host of cotton and mulberry, and occasionally harmful corn. In view of the small number of domestic reports of information in this regard, we will briefly brief our observation results for reference.
