This paper is an attempt to apply fuzzy mathematical methods in the selection and evaluation of mining methods. A fuzzy mathematical model of selection and evaluation of mining methods is developed, this model makes the selection of mining methods be done quantitatively. A method of determining the weight factors is advanced. Numerical examples are presented to show how the fuzzy model can be applied.
