苏霍姆林斯基在《给教师的建议》中提到:“30年的经验使我相信,学生的智力发展取决于良好的阅读能力。”这几年,我校非常重视鼓励学生进行课外阅读,但阅读带来的成效并不尽如人意。调查研究发现,我校外来员工子女较多,家庭基本没有阅读的氛围与条件;老师对学生课外读物的选择没有引导跟踪,阅读方法也缺乏针对性的具体的系统的指导。我和张丽贞老师主动承担并主持了的湖里区教育科研“十二五”规划2013年度立项课题《小学高年级课外阅读引导与评价的研究》(课题编号:13-023)。我们希望借由此课题的研究,在课外阅读指导方法上进行新的探索与尝试,要把这条“暗胡同”的路径描画出来,减轻师生家长摸索的茫然,让有益的课外阅读成为孩子们的一种生活方式。
