This article analyzes the economic growth before and after joining the NAFTA in the United States, Canada and Mexico and draws the following conclusions: The economic growth rate of the three countries has undergone a marked change since 1994, manifested in the increase of economic growth rate and the standard The difference is lower and the correlation between economic growth is significantly enhanced. This shows that while the United States, Canada and Mexico accelerated their economic growth after acceding to the North American Free Trade Agreement, they also saw more stable economic growth and convergence of economic fluctuations. This paper attempts to analyze the causes of these changes and the economic impact of these changes. We think the weakening of economic fluctuations is a non-traditional gain of North American free trade agreement, especially for Mexico, a developing country.
